Airplane Accidents

Airplane Accidents always make the news. Most Airplane Accidents are catastrophic events with total destruction of the aircraft and huge loss of life. What are the victims rights after such an incident? Do you contractually sign your rights away and exonerate the carrier when you buy the ticket? Will your own insurance cover you? Does the airline carrier provide insurance? How much is it and what does it cover?

The disaster investigation is extensive and conducted by several aviation bodies, international institutions, and foreign governments. Often information is not communicated and we may feel that information is withheld.

Our compliments and respect to Captain Chesley Sullenberger III who safely landed US Airways flight on the Hudson river. Foto foxnews.

  1. Not all airplane accidents happen on commercial airplanes. If you have been injured in a private airplane, Allan Field may be able to help you.
